At Algabo, we believe that building a better future starts with our daily decisions. Sustainability is not an option; it’s a responsibility we embrace with commitment, innovation, and concrete actions. From our production processes to our social impact, we work to create value with a triple-impact approach: social, environmental, and economic.

We create personal care products designed to improve daily life, and we do so using eco-friendly packaging, biodegradable materials, and increasingly efficient processes. We incorporate ecopacks that reduce plastic use, biodegradable cotton swabs and wipes, and an expanding line of more than 40 sustainable products. Today, over 70% of our packaging uses recycled material.

Additionally, we invest in technology and automation to optimize resources and minimize waste. Our plant in Tortuguitas produces over 50 million containers annually, with responsible energy consumption and active policies for reducing our environmental footprint.

All our suppliers must comply with demanding environmental standards and sign our Code of Ethics, which promotes good productive, legal, and sustainable practices. Internally, we recycle over 1,500 tons of plastic and 30 tons of cardboard per year. We also work on material reuse and the design of refillable products to reduce waste and avoid generating single-use plastic products.

We are a company that values talent and diversity. 65% of our employees are women, and 90% of leadership positions are held by them. We create an inclusive environment, with development opportunities and active equality policies.

Additionally, we carry out Corporate Social Responsibility programs alongside sports clubs, schools, hospitals, and foundations. We conduct medical talks and awareness days, promote solidarity actions in vulnerable neighborhoods, and participate in educational and health initiatives.

Algabo promotes environmental awareness by example. We participate in activities such as beach clean-ups with athletes, training sessions in clubs, and events like the Bioferia, to continue building a community more conscious of caring for the planet.
